A commitment to
Community Involvement
Merrimack Valley Distributing Company takes great pride in its
many years of involvement in community affairs. Annually, the
company contributes to many local community programs and
charitable organizations as well as several national programs such
as Hurricane Katrina, the American Red Cross, Pan Am Challenge and
Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. In fact, over the last fifteen years, the
company has contributed in excess of $250,000 towards all these
programs.
Locally, the company annually donates to the high school sports
and band programs, the Danvers People to People Food Bank, Jimmy
Fund Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Special Olympics, Friends of
Danvers Recreation and Open Space, Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon,
Danvers DEEP Program, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation, Mass Alzheimer's Association,
Danvers Community YMCA, Jewish Federation of the North Shore, Walk
for Hospice, Dexter Woodman Scholarship Foundation, and Danvers
Family Festival, just to name a few.
In addition, the company is involved in and contributes to a
number of local programs associated with the prevention of drug
and alcohol abuse including Danvers Community That Cares, Danvers
High School Project Graduation, Danvers Police D.A.R.E., the
Yellow Dress Program and Danvers S.A.D.D. Program.
